Master <35m NC

Provides approved training to the competency requirements for a Master up to 35m Near Coastal Certificate as specified by the NSVC and AMSA.

Coxswain Deck

Designed for people requiring a commercial licence to skipper a commercial fishing, trading or passenger vessel up to 12m in length.


Coxswain Engineering (Diesel)

For people who hold a Coxswain Grade 2 (NC) CoC and wish to operate a 100Kw up to 500Kw inboard propulsion commercial vessel up to 12m in length with inshore waters.

Coxswain Navigation

Aimed at people who wish to complete the navigational component of a Coxswain grade 1 (NC).

Deck Machinery & Lifting Appliances

This course is for those requiring the basic skills and knowledge to operate deck machinery and lifting appliances that are commonly used on a typical fish farm vessel
NOTE: This course is not recommended for operators of vessel-mounted cranes that exceed a 10 ton 1 metre capacity.

Elements of Shipboard Safety

This course is an AMSA requirement for anyone who works or wishes to work as a Near Coastal Coxswain, Master, Marine Engine Driver, or where stipulated, as a deckhand on a commercial coastal vessel.

First Aid

This course is for those requiring a first aid qualification equivalent to Workplace Level 2 First Aid or Senior First Aid.

Forklift

Aimed at people seeking the skills and knowledge required to apply for a licence to operate a forklift truck.

Long Range Operators Certificate of Proficiency (Marine Radio)

This course is for people who are required to hold a Long Range Operators Certificate of Proficiency issued by the Office of Maritime Communications (OMC) in order to operate marine VHF and MF-HF radios

Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 NC

This course provides approved training to the competency required for a Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 Near Coastal Certificate as specified by the NSCV and AMSA.

Marine Engine Driver Grade 3 NC

Course is required for people who wish to operate machinery on vessels less than 500Kw propulsion power as a Chief Engineer in the EEZ up to offshore limits or as a Second Engineer on a vessel with propulsion power <750Kw in operations up to restricted operations.
