COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This module will give the trainee the basic knowledge and skills required to operate deck machinery and lifting appliances as used on a typical fish farm vessel.
COURSE DURATION:
2 day course including written and practical examination
PRE-REQUISITES:
Some experience with vessel mounted lifting appliances would be desirable.
OUTCOME:
Statement of Attainment in partial completion of a Certificate III in Seafood Industry (Aquaculture) for the unit RTE3309A Operate Machinery in Adverse Conditions, from the SFI04, issued by Seafood Training Tasmania.
