COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This is the Certificate of Competency (CoC) required to skipper a commercial fishing, trading vessel or passenger vessel. It is available in several forms, from Sheltered Waters, Diesel Endorsement, 3 x 30 to Passenger Operations.
OPERATIONAL AREAS:
Coxswain Restricted; to a maximum of sheltered waters as defined by Limits of Operational Areas by-law's. Vessel size - command a vessel up to 12 metres x 250kw. (Petrol Motors only).
COURSE DURATION:
5 Day course including a boating practical
PRE-REQUISITES:
Pre-Requisite form (out boards)-
To be completed by a Recreational or Commercial Boat Licence Holder who has observed the candidate complete the tasks required.
